Growing up in the beautiful continent of Africa afforded me the luxury of soaking up her beautiful culture in colors. More indulging was growing up with Artistic Parents and relatives. At the time making a dress for an occasion was either my Mum making one for my sister and me or going to the seamstress for it.

Fashion is the basis of our everyday life from how we dress, our style, décor, the cars we drive, and the cosmetics we use. Everything has got a design to it and our perception of fashion helps us express ourselves and defines us, making fashion continuous. Fashion and character are closely related.

My curiosity and love for the arts of fashion inspired me to become a fashion designer, which I pursued after obtaining a postgraduate degree. In my quest to start my fashion brand, I had so many unanswered questions with few sites providing me with little insight. This was challenging because it made it difficult to get all the information I needed.
